Kesa Kivel, Volunteer Project Leader, offered a broad-based feminist curriculum in an interactive format to a small group of middle school girls as part of the YWCA Santa Monica / Westside’s community service programming. The girls transformed an on-site house into the bedroom of a girl who is being sexually harassed, artistically rendering this girl’s worries as well as the potential consequences to her of the harassment.
